Sweet Lucy. She was a rescue done right here on our county road. Someone posted a picture of a loose horse in terrible condition. We were able to get to the horse and load her up, thinking no one would claim her in her current state. We then passed the previous owners looking for her, with her loaded up in the back 😂🫣 They were willing to sell her to us after me basically begging, haha. She’s come so far. She’s a special one to me, as we found her on our home street, and she was refeeding with our dearest Liberty until we lost her. Some horses you bond with quickly and know they’re meant to be here. Lucy will stay with SMRR. You’re safe now, sweet girl. Congratulations on your new life, Lucy.
